Our skylight covers are custom made to your specifications with a mesh material called Enduro® Shade cloth that uses a patented process to weave and heat treat vinyl-impregnated
polyester yarn to protect and interlock the yarn for long life with no
runs or ravels. Aluminum pigment is added during the process for
maximum blockage of ultraviolet rays. The fire retardant fabric is
available in 80% shade factor and carries a five year pro-rated
warranty.
Enduro® Shade cloth blocks ultraviolet rays and controls solar heat.
Ultraviolet (UV) transmittance data recently obtained from an
independent testing laboratory shows the 80% screen fabric blocks
84% of total UV. Unshielded UV rays can seriously fade interior
carpeting, furniture and art objects.
